Description
Alkyd-urethane anti-corrosion one-component primer ALURON.
Application
Primer ALURON is used as the primer layer in combination with alkyd, melamine-formaldehyde, epoksiefirnye, alkyd-urethane and other enamels. It is used for anti-corrosion protection of internal and external surfaces of vehicles: agricultural machinery, construction equipment, railway transport, public transport (buses, trams, etc.), as well as machine tools and mechanisms used in the energy sector. It is also suitable for processing of metal structures of the bearing type.
Aluron primer has good adhesion, bending strength, reduced drying time, increased resistance to moisture, as well as increased hardness and abrasion resistance compared to alkyd coatings. It is operated mainly in temperate climates. The primer film retains the declared properties at a temperature of -45°C to + 45°C.
Information on the resistance of the material to different media is available on request
Surface preparation
The surface of the metal is cleaned by blasting to a degree 1 or 2 according to GOST 9.402(Sa 2^(1/2) or Sa 2 according to ISO 8501-1:2007). Dust and degrease the cleaned surface.
If the surface preparation quality decreases, the service life and performance may change.
Application conditions
The temperature of the base is higher than the dew point by at least 3°C.
Ambient temperature from +5°C to + 35°C.
Relative humidity not more than 80%.
The process of applying
Preparation |
The primer is ready for use. Mix thoroughly with a construction mixer. If necessary, dilute with prescription thinner RP-1K. |
Airless spraying |
Dilution: 0-10% The diameter of the nozzle: 0,011-0,017" Initial pressure: 120-160 ATM |
Air spray |
Working viscosity: 40-60 sec Dilution: 10-30% Nozzle diameter: 1.8-2.5 mm Initial pressure: 3.0-4.0 ATM |
Interlayer exposure at 20°C |
at least 0.5-1 hour |
Brush, Roller |
It is recommended to use only for small areas or hard-to-reach areas. When applying with a brush, dilute the primer-enamel depending on the condition when painting |
Diluent | Prescription thinner RP-1K |
Purifier | Prescription thinner RP-1K, R-4 |
Work stoppage | The product must not remain in hoses, gun or other spraying equipment |
Equipment washing |
Rinse the equipment immediately after use. The frequency of flushing depends on the amount of material sprayed, the temperature and the time elapsed after the shutdown, including any delays
