Scope and specifics of application
EPPEX VIS primer is used as a primer or interlayer coating for corrosion protection in systems exposed to mechanical and/or chemical actions. A special feature of the EPPEX VIS primer is its fast drying at low temperatures. The accelerated drying time and fast hardening makes it possible to increase the painting process moldability. It is suitable both for anti-corrosion treatment of new metal structures and repair work. It can be used for metal structures used in various climatic regions.
Conditions
Two component epoxy primer EPPEX VIS is applied on the surface at the temperature from +50С to +350С relative humidity no more 80%. To provide technical characteristics the temperature of primer should be no less than + 150С. Surface temperature should be 30 higher than dew point.The process of applying

Blending |
The product is two component. Component А is a dispersion of pigments and anticorrosion filler in epoxy resin. Component B is a hardener solution. Mix the contents of the containers in the supplied proportions. After mixing, use within the specified pot life. Mixing sequence: The basis (component A) is mixed with a construction mixer. Then mixed hardener (component B) is added to the basis (component A) and thoroughly mixed with a construction mixer. Attention! Careless mixing or incorrect ratio can lead to uneven curing and painting film properties weakening. |
