Polyurethane two-component primer-enamel Polytex BS.
Scope and specifics of application
Primer-enamel Polytex BS is used as a self-priming anti-corrosion coating with accelerated drying time and a quick set of mounting strength. Available with varying degrees of gloss: from deep matte to high gloss, has a large selection of colors. Does not require pre-priming. Thick-layer application is possible.
It is used for painting and long-term corrosion protection of internal and external surfaces of various vehicles: agricultural machinery, construction equipment, public transport (buses, trolleybuses, trams, etc.), railway transport, as well as other metal structures.
Ground enamel has increased strength, hardness, abrasion resistance and accelerated drying time. It is successfully used in temperate, cold and Maritime climate, providing long-term protection against corrosion.
Information on the resistance of the material to different media is available on request.
The surface of the metal is cleaned by blasting to a degree 1 or 2 according to GOST 9.402(Sa 2^(1/2) or Sa 2 according to ISO 8501-1:2007). Dust and degrease the cleaned surface.
If the surface preparation quality decreases, the service life and performance may change.
Application temperature from +5°C to +30°C
Humidity – no more than 80 %
The process of applying
Polyurethane primer-enamel consists of two components: component A - base, component B - hardener. Immediately before use, the component a is pre-mixed with a low-speed drill with a stirring nozzle, then mixed with the component B in stoichiometric ratio (in the form of delivery). The resulting material is thoroughly mixed until smooth. After the hardener is introduced into the base, the material must be kept for at least 5-10 minutes

9,3: 1 by volume
Material viability at 20°C, not less
The diameter of the nozzle: 0,011-0,017"
Initial pressure: 120-160 ATM
Working viscosity: 40-60 sec
Nozzle diameter: 1.8-2.5 mm
Initial pressure: 3.0-4.0 ATM
Interlayer exposure at 20°C
Before applying enamel-15 min at 30 microns dry layer
It is recommended to use only for small areas or hard-to-reach areas. When applying with a brush, dilute the primer-enamel depending on the conditions when painting
