Fire-retarding composition constructional RAUM-PROFIE SKR is a pigment suspension in binding material with thermo resistant and thermal insulation additives. Cured surface has low heat conductivity.
Fields of application
The composition is designed to increase the fire resistance of steel structures and structures for industrial and civil purposes, including those operated indoors with non-aggressive or mildly aggressive environments.
Primers such as ГФ-021 (ГОСТ 25129-82 or ТУ 2312-008-20514586-04), primer Eppex ТУ 2312-032-20514586-2015 materials should be used to form anticorrosion coating for good adhesion to metal.
Polytex ТУ 2312-024-20514586-2013 materials are recommended to use as finishing coating.
Fire -resistance time is 90 min.
Instruction for use
Before applying the enamel rust must be removed from the metal surface by any available method (metal brushes, sandpaper or sandblasting). Then the surface is degreased with organic solvents and dried at a temperature close to 20о С for 2-3 hours. The metal is coated with an anticorrosive primer ГФ-021 with a dry layer thickness of at least 50 microns, drying the primer layer at a temperature of 20о С and a humidity of no more than 80%. After drying, flame retardant is applied layer-by-layer with inter-coat drying for 24 hours.
The flame retardant coating should be used at an ambient temperature of -100C to +250C. The surface temperature should be at least 3 0C above the dew point to avoid condensation.
Mix before use. The viscosity may increase when stored for a long time. It is allowed to be thinned up to 3% with a formula thinner RP1K to achieve the working viscosity when applied by airless spraying with high-pressure devices.
