Polyurethane two-component primer-enamel Polytex St.
Scope and specifics of application
Primer-enamel Polytex ST due to the corrosion inhibitor active in preventing the occurrence of rust, therefore, has a long-term protective and high decorative features. Available with varying degrees of gloss: from deep matte to high gloss, has a large selection of colors. Does not require pre-priming. Suitable for repair work.
They are used for painting and long-term anticorrosion protection of concrete, reinforced concrete and metal structures operating in the industrial atmosphere of temperate, cold and Maritime climate, including railway bridges, road bridges, road barriers, construction cranes, power transmission lines, pipeline supports, antenna mast structures, ground parts of piles, supports of pipeline overpasses, the outer surface of pipelines, external surfaces of tanks, tanks and tanks for storage of chemicals and oil products, underwater parts of hydraulic structures and other metal structures and equipment exposed to atmospheric corrosion.
Polytex ST enamel primer has good adhesion, bending strength, high resistance to moisture, as well as enhanced hardness, strength and abrasion resistance, oil and petrol resistance, resistance to mineral fertilizers. It is used in conditions of diverse aggressive effects – chemical, atmospheric, mechanical.
Information on the resistance of the material to different media is available on request.
The material is approved by the Institute VNIIZHT and can be used for painting freight cars. According to the results of accelerated climatic tests, the coating has a service life of 12-20 years, depending on the thickness of the dry film (120-170 microns).
The surface of the metal is cleaned by blasting to a degree 1 or 2 according to GOST 9.402(Sa 2^(1/2) or Sa 2 according to ISO 8501-1:2007). Dust and degrease the cleaned surface.
If the surface preparation quality decreases, the service life and performance may change.
Application temperature from +5°C to +30°C
Humidity – no more than 80 %
The process of applying
Polyurethane primer-enamel consists of two components: component A - base, component B - hardener. Immediately before use, the component a is pre-mixed with a low-speed drill with a stirring nozzle, then mixed with the component B in stoichiometric ratio (in the form of delivery). The resulting material is thoroughly mixed until smooth. After the hardener is introduced into the base, the material must be kept for at least 5-10 minutes
